The UAE is the 1st in the Arab Region in the "PCI"

The UAE was at the top of the list of Gulf countries in the “Productive Capacities Index" issued by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development "UNCTAD", which measures the performance of countries in achieving their national development goals, and their commitment to the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations.

The UAE ranked 21st globally with 42.3 points, followed by Qatar in 29th place globally with 40.8 points, Bahrain ranked 39th in the world with 39.09 points, then Saudi Arabia, which came in 63rd globally with 34.7 points, while the Sultanate of Oman ranked 64th in the world with a score 34.6 points, whereas Kuwait ranked last in the Gulf and 74 globally out of 193 countries, with 33.9 points.

On the other hand, the United States topped the global list, after achieving 50.5 points, followed by the Netherlands with 48.2 points, Iceland by 47.9 points, and Luxembourg with 47.6 points, along with Germany by 47.3 points, while the United Kingdom came in sixth place with 46.1 points, followed by Denmark with 46.1 points, Hong Kong with 45.8 points, Ireland with 45.5 points, and Japan, which scored 45.2 points.
